New Daily Service to Hangzhou

Emirates has officially inaugurated a daily flight to Hangzhou, marking its fifth gateway in mainland China and a significant milestone in its global network expansion. Flight EK310 touched down at Hangzhou Xiaoshan International Airport to a warm reception from local dignitaries, airport officials, and a ceremonial water cannon salute. This follows the recent addition of another destination, Shenzhen, within less than a month.

Inaugural Flight Experience

The inaugural flight carried passengers from diverse regions across Emirates’ extensive network, attractions spanning key markets such as the UAE, Nigeria, Italy, Spain, Saudi Arabia, and Brazil. Passengers were greeted with commemorative gifts, including keychains, certificates, and traditional Chinese tea sets, celebrating the launch.

Remarks from Emirates Officials

Adnan Kazim, the Deputy President and Chief Commercial Officer of Emirates, expressed pride in the airline’s contribution to China’s growing aviation market. With the launch of two new routes in quick succession, Emirates solidifies its commitment to the Chinese mainland and its ambitious growth strategy in East and Southeast Asia. Kazim noted the rising demand for connectivity and emphasized Emirates’ dedication to linking economies and cultures across Asia and beyond.
